News Around the Barn:

We are well into our show season and can hardly wait for the summer!!  We want to congratulate Lejla Tuzovic on her purchase of Kalvin and the Profrock family on their purchase of Blondie!  Glad to keep them in the barn...Also want to congratulate Angela DeMauro  and Julia Cahill on their summer leases of MTM NIK.  We have a couple of seniors graduating this year... Symantha Komola will be leaving for Miami of Ohio and believe it or not both Angela DeMauro and Ellie Finch will be calling Cornell University home....we are proud of you and will miss you!

We want to welcome Amanda Weinberger to our team.  Amanda is an established curriculum developer who has created our new science-based farm animal programs.

She has a degree in Animal Biotechnology and Conservation from Delaware Valley University, and has used what she learned there to create science-based programming for multiple organizations throughout the US and Canada. She has her Environmental Education Certification for non-formal educators, preferring the outdoors to a classic classroom setting, and loves to learn new things to teach. She's very excited to be at the Rising Star Equestrian Center! When she's not here, you can find her all over the world updating herself on the newest findings in geology, entomology, botany, and animal behavior. When she's not doing that or running other educational programs, she's probably giving her horse way too many treats or trying to take a photo of a cool new bug she found.

We still have some horses and ponies available for lease, half-lease and sale..And invite anyone interested in joining our farm family,  whether you are an animal loving weekend warrior or a competitive rider looking for a competitive  show program.
